    Hey everyone, 15x
    8gb ram
    ATI 5850m HD 1g gddr5

just happened the other day, in games you would have nice flow of fps, 59-48 , now it flows but slams down to 20 or even 2 before. It is unplayable and driving me nuts. I have checked to see if the good for nothing stealthmode is off. Its off, then i removed and updated video drivers, did a spyware scan, did a virus scan.. checked log files, nothing. Any help would be awesome!

eliminate your OC, clean out the fans and heatsink, re-paste and re-pad the gpu (you may want to do the cpu while your at it) and test it out playing game for a couple days. if this doesnt work than your may have stealth mode issues
