    Hey guys,

hopefully someone here is able to give me some advice. Late last year I started to have serious problems with my M15x, I was offered a replacement and I accepted it. After nearly 3 months of waiting for the damn replacement it finally arrives. I recieved it in mid Feb. In the last week I've noticed that the fan on the CPU HSF is making some wear noises that just don't sound right for a fan to be making.

I called into Alienware and they told me my damn warranty has expired? My warranty from the previous laptop expired in Jan, and I was told that this one would carry at least another 3 months. The agent refused to help me and hung up the phone. I'm PO'd, I've had nothing but problems from Dell/Alienware, next to HP customer support they have to be the worst in the business.

Is there anything that can be done? I demanded before I got this laptop that I get a warranty extension of 1yr because I was without a functioning laptop for over 2 months and my case was never "processed/completed" due to their negligence.

I'd appreciate any help on this matter.

    Thank you.

Call again, talk to another rep, ask for a supervisor if necessary. Be patient and explain your case exactly. If you have provide them information like email or similar.

You really shouldn't have such issues, I guess they messed something terribly up.

Hope you're going to be successful.

I placed my first call about the audio crackling and such in early Nov 2010, I got the laptop on Feb 18 2011.

I'll call again tomorrow if I call again today I'm going to snap on someone.
