Hi all would be grateful if anyone can help me with my problem, as my warranty has already expired~

Initially i couldnt boot up my laptop totally 2 weeks ago, the laptop lcd is blank and only when i output via VGA then i can see windows trying to boot up, but once it gets to the Windows is starting up screen, the blue screen appears saying hardware error and then shuts down and reboots in a never-ending cycle...

ok i tried pressing F8 to do a system restore and it worked at first, i get occasion screen freezes while using and then black screen saying display card recovered from error.
And then last week the blank happened again, same thing i tried output via vga and try to do a system restore, but this time restore totally fail~
couldnt go into safe mode initially but after reading somewhere on the net that removing a/c power and batt and press + hold the power button will fix the blank screen, i could go into safe mode now, but laptop screen still blank
device manager only shows 1 error on IR Consumer devices unable to load drivers.
called Dell they told me to run the diagnostics and the error was unable to adjust brightness on lcd screen error code 3022 and they told me straight that its lcd screen spoilt after finising the whole diagnos test...which i seriously doubt as jus now for some funny reason when again trying to do a system restore i closed the screen down and open, im at the user login screen on the laptop...once i press enter to login, wham same old happens again and seriously at my wits end...dell repair costs $400+ SGD...
