    M15x idle temp on CPU and GPU?

    I am curious to see peoples idle temps on both cpu and gpu. To test use hwinfo and set fans to 4000rpm (the best fan speed for cooling as it isn't too noisy) then fire up GPuz and coretemp.

    After see what you min temp was on your CPU (always fluctuates a bit) and the current temp on the GPU.

    In ambient room temp of 20C I get

    CPU: 27C (all 4 cores)
    GPU: 25C.

    mine is:

    CPU: 47C
    GPU: 39C

    Thats a 920XM CPU and a 560m GPU with a 9 Cell and the room is probably about 23C

    It normally is something around that. As long as it is not close to 70 on idle everything is alright.

    With fan running idle the GPU runs at 30-33C. CPU around 40C

    CPU: ~39ºC
    GPU: ~42ºC

    Room Temp: 23ºC

    Room 23C

    Streaming music, running chrome, and gtalk. Otherwise known as idle. I run a 920xm and 7970m like you.


    Standard fans: both 2k RPM @ 46c CPU and 37c GPU

    Fans blasted to 4k after 5mins from my standard: 44c CPU and 33c GPU
