    Hi guyz,

havent been awhile posing in here. I am currently using M15x with 840QM along with the GTX460m. I am experiencing some jittering when I am using itunes and google chrome. It always jitter when I start my google chrome or new page. Sometimes it also jitters even I did not open google chrome.

also I experienced a sudden FPS drop when play league of legends as well.

NB i am sure i did turn off my stealth mode.

    please help guys.

Are you using McAfee Antivirus Plus?

They released an update recently and started having these stupid jittering issues too. Never had it before, and ive had the system since Dec 2009.

Ive already posted on their forums. If they dont come up with a solution im just going to uninstall it and go with some other AV solution

im too cheap to pay for an AV, and i hate all the adverts/popups/annoying reminders from the free AVs ....

so i went for Microsoft Security Essentials ... not sure how good it is at catching viruses/trojans etc, but its good enough for me coz i never visit unknown websites and open strange attachments anyway (the two most common causes for infections!)

yup .. most likely .. try disabling it and see if your problem goes away..

or keep task manager open and switch to the processes tab (view all processes from users) and sort by CPU usage to see which process is killing your machine

    +1

    Go for Microsoft Security Essentials.
