I opened up my m15x and used compressed air to get the dust out. When I try to turn it on, it gets to maybe the windows logo before shutting off. Please help

I've done this before, taken all the fans out to clean them then forgotten to replace the thermal paste and/or not reconnected the fan pins !

Make sure your sinks and fans are seated/connected up correctly as the unit will power off if it gets too hot.

Edit: Also make sure if you did happen to reseat either sink that the protective insulator around the chips is properly placed so there is no contact other than copper to copper with paste.
