    Hy,

    I have a alienware m15x with i7 940xm and GTX 770M, recently upgraded.

    Gpu-z & Cpu-z: http://i60.tinypic.com/mq4r6.jpg and now:

    On idle i have 42c-46c on GTX 770M and 55c - 60c on i7 940xm; it's ok this temp on idle ?

    See pic: http://i59.tinypic.com/4zxe85.jpg

I play only 2 games: Watch dogs and Battlefield 4 and without Cooler Master: NOTEPAL U3 (just have bought) i rich in Watch dogs temp on my GTX770M to 90c, and in BF4 to 85c; it's ok this temp ?

With Cooler Master: NOTEPAL U3 i rich max 80c after 1 hour; it's ok this temp ?

I use ARCTIC MX4 for cpu and gpu.

I need a advice for this temp and this configuration.
    Thanks.

Congorats on the purchase. I am sure you will enjoy the beast now. Normal idle temps are around 35-43C for the 770m and 39-47C for the 940XM. This will vary on cooling and if you are overclocking/overvolting the chips. If everything is stock, temps should not hit that high. I would also look into what temps your 940XM is outputting, as high temps will result in throttling/slow downs. Temps for the GPU should not hit over 80C for reliability concerns. As far as the CPU, it can hit as high as 100c before shutting off. I would suggest keeping it below 80-85c.

Make sure there is enough airflow and also make sure that the notebook cooler fan isn't pulling AWAY the air from the laptop...as some coolers do that. You have to make sure the cooler is feeding cool air to the beast. One last thing, you need to look into IC Diamond 24 thermal paste. the AS MX4 is pretty crappy. Hope this helps.

Can you post some temp from your CPU and GPU on idle ?

Right now i use thermal pads from older GTX 260M and they are already 6-7 years old...
Is it need it to buy another set of pads for my new GTX 770M,will i see some improvements for temperatures?

I want to buy something like this: Phobya Thermal pad XT 7W/mk and i want to arrange in this way: http://imagizer-cv.imageshack.us/a/img822/4905/m0d5.png
The heights of the pads are ok ?

    Thanks.

I would stick with the 5w/mk they are easier to use and get the job done.

Those temperatures seem fine for both of the components. Did you repaste the CPU?
