I checked the BIOS and wake from USB is grayed out. Is there a way to change this? I didn't find an option for it in windows 7.

I have it sitting on a desk hooked up to a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. It would be nice to not have to always open it up and turn it on.

That option should not be grayed out, re-flash the BIOS, this article explains how.

I would check the drivers for the keyboard first. I use sleep constantly and never have issues.
