    M15x wont power on after installing alien fx

    Help my m15x dies after installing the alienfx with windows 10, before its goes black it said that the alienfx has been upgraded to version 1.0.0 to version 1.30 then turn to black screen, It still can power on a litte bit but the fan stop spinning after i power it up.
    Does that means im motherboard is bricked? And what is the solution to fix this?

    Does your computers boots into bios at least or just stays with a black screen? If so, check your SCROLL CAPS NUM leds to see if they blink for any error codes info.

    It doesnt boot to bios, but the alien fx glow within 1-2 seconds, alongside the fan then the machine go silent, the all lights turn black, all of its fan stop spinning as well



    it starts like this.

    And yes its happen when i tried to upgrade my alien fx my screen turn black and all the lights glow, i immadiately stop the power supply after the screen goes black with no sound.
    After that i connect the power supply and its end like this

    no sound no fan spinning it just dies there after failed boot up

    If it because corrupted bios or?

    it needs a keyboard connected to power up, hope this wasn't too late

    Im not exactly 100% sure on this but there are quite a few topics going on around the internet that windows 10 corrupts the bios on m15x.

    I ran Windows 10 on my M15x for a good time and never had issues. Might have been installing AlienFX older version.

    Unless there's some new issue with Windows 10 I missed.

    Oh just watched the video again you did not attach the keyboard ribbon to your M15X, it normally shouldn't start without it at all.

    I only stumbled upon few stories about this issue online specifically towards M15X with W10, some have been able to resolve it with removal of RTC battery and letting it stay without any power for about a hour.

    Btw i have watched the video multiple times and it looks to me very much like when i had a chipset failure on my M15X, also starts for a brief moment and goes out needed a new mobo 00G5VT
