I upgrade GPU from 240m GT to M6100 recently.

I am using Not So Bad Thermal paste and it is pretty good i think. surely not better than Thermal Grizzly or MX-4, but it is close to them, i believe.

Back to the card, I install M6100 without any mod or problem. it seems a bit tighter pressure than 240m GT, but I didn't care.

It working good and idle temp is great. it was around 40C, but at full load, at 3 min and 15 sec, It reach 99C and throttling and go down temp and back to normal clock and go up 99 again.

I install more than 5 times, and all result are not that different.

240m gt is just 60 - 70c at full load with my thermal paste.

so, M6100 is just way too hot in M15x or I install it wrong.

I read too much about m6000 and m6100, but they are mostly about killing gpu core not high temp.

is Installing m6100 without any mod causing way too high temp?

how about m6000? m6000 runs cool at full load?

or I just need to stay with 240m gt? (cuz, when gpu got hot, fan runs crazy loudly and I don't like it. 240m gt never run loudly.

Cooler is not making contact. Had it with my m15x and a different card. It looks ok until you try to game or run a benchmark..
