So I replaced my CPU with an 940mx, and applied MX3 all around, and new pads. Best I could get stable was 26x all around, with 90/80. I had heard that MX-4 was good, so I repasted. Idle temps are the same - 40's and low 50's. But now I can run 27x for all 4 cores (3585 +/-). Haven't got Vantage to run, and I'm sure I won't compete with the hotter graphics cards (nearly allof them are hotter). But 3DMark06 is nearly 14000 (not a lot better, since it doesn't push the CPU except for the one test. Max temperature was just under 90 - and before I was pushing 100.

Repasting (thanks to the inap guide (+rep) was definitely worth it!
