What kind of memory speed is original in my M15x ?
    I bought Corsair 2X4gb 1066 mhz
But it made 0% difference in performance compared to my old Kingston modules.
Old memory was cas 9 and my new is 7.

Do i need to buy other modules ?
I got 8.69 gb/s in both modules in SiSoft 2011

    Best Regards

    Tobbe

That's normal as you'll barley see any performance difference in real life (day to day apps.)

Do you need to buy other modules. What a great question. If you want to support the economy, sure?

Why not try asking, 'is my laptop slow' and if the answer is yes, 'why' before you spend money.

The previous ram would have been DDR3-1333 CAS 9, which is identical in performance to DDR3-1066 CAS 7.

Hey, you are right ofcourse. But in this case the money is not a problem.
Ofcourse the hole with money is not to China, but memory modules is really really cheap.

There is no need to buy any more ram you are just wasting your money. Put in either kit and save the other one as a backup.
