Is everyone still doing this mod to desktop drivers? I am just using the AMD mobile drivers that auto install. Maybe this is my problem...

I cant for the life of me get msi afterburner etc to unlock higher clock settings nor can I do it from the CCC. I have upgraded to 12.10 drivers now and the ram clocks at idle are so much higher vs 12.8 drivers that the GPU fan runs constantly. I have to use stealth mode to get the ram clocks down so I can tolerate typing and browsing websites. Vram used to idle at 150mhz now it runs at full 1200!!! i know this is a driver glitch but i still cant get afterburner to allow me to adjust clock speeds to try overclocking or modding the 2d clocks so it auto clocks the vram down properly again.
    Anyone have any ideas?
