Looks like its wearing out and its time to sell it at a heavily discounted price. Nobody will want it since its performing like a pile! How much do you want? ;)

Honestly how can you expect us to help you when you don't give us any details or descriptions of its symptoms. We don't read minds, and have no idea what you mean when you describe it as a pile. What exactly is it doing? Once we know more information people will be willing to help you out.

Also next time you should look around more before making any posts. This thread should have been started in the Alienware M15x boards.

Single biggest increase in performance for gaming will be from buying a new GPU. Plenty of options out there.
If you've got the cash go with a GTX 680M. AMD 7970M are selling for quite cheap at the moment and offer great performance but require slight undervolting to work well.

Upgrading the GPU would be of great help. A new system would be better though :p You may try selling it on eBay or something.
