    Hi Everyone,

My M15x (Core i7 720, GeForce 260M, 4GB 1333DDR, HD Display) seems to be struggling to play games lately. I am only getting around 30-40 FPS in some recent games, and am not sure if I should be seeing higher. If you have any experience with the M15x and these games, could you post your game settings (High, Very High, resolution, MSAA, etc...) so I can see where my laptop is falling?

    World of Warcraft Cataclysm
    1920 x 1080 using "ultra settings", I get approx 25 - 30 fps
    1920 x 1080 using "very high", I get approx 30 - 35 fps
1280 x 720 using either "ultra" or "very high" it still hovers at aroun 45 fps.

Prior to Cataclysm, I was getting 200+ at the highest settings in some areas.

    Homefront
    1920 x 1080 with maxed settings (MSAA turned off) I get 20 - 25 fps.
    1280 x 720 with maxed settings (MSAA turned off) I get ~ 40 fps

    Bad Company 2
    1920 x 1080 with maxed settigns (MSAA set at 1x) I get ~30 fps
    1280 x720 with maxed settings (MSAA set at 1x) I get around 40 - 60 fps

Perhaps I am expectign too much out of my laptop? Thanks!

    Rich

Thats going to tend to happen at 1080p resolution, nothing seems to be wrong your just pushing your computer's limits. I have a M17x 280m sli right now and I don't get all that much higher
