So for the last few weeks I've experienced lagg on audio and video while playing games and watching movies.

Called dell and went through the whole procedure of doing systemdiagnostics from the resourcedvd, crosstested the ram and reinstalled windows. None of which helped or pointed towards a solution.

Tomorrow a tech will be comming with new a mobo and hdd in order to try and fix the problem.
He will also be bringing a new palmrest (rubberthings fell off) and a new screen (because of dust under the glass).

Is there anything I should do before he arrives, or anything I should pay attention to while he replaces these things?
And how long would you guess this would take?

Sit right next to him and watch everything he does. I had a mobo replaced plus graphics card and 2 heatsinks. He was there about 1 1/2 hours. The guy looked like he was about 15 years old. When he was all finished there was 1 screw left over :D

My guy looked more like 45, and seemed to know what he was doing. He even managed to use all screws :D
