Just wondered if anyone else has this happen.

I only had the laptop couple of months but did notice it straight away with my Crysis Game.

It happens when the game disc is in the machine and after you close the lid for a bit,, when i come back and open the lid , there is a sort of churning noise from the drive.

At first i put it down to the disc, as it didnt do it at all with footie manager

I just got empire total war today and it did it with that game too. On empire it lasts about a min and then is fine,,, but sometimes when i put Crysis in the drive dosent even recognise the game and I have to take it out the machine a couple of times before it works.

I have only had a couple of games and DVD's in the drive so I guess its early to tell if its the drive or the discs,, but this game is brand new out the shop !!

Was wondering if its maybe a driver issue,, and if i should look for an update or something ??

    Any ideas
