Hi everyone, just installed a Dell gtx 770m in my m15x, and from a hardware perspective, it worked fine. (there's a metal piece on the bottom that seems to be awkwardly placed) The annoying thing is the driver. Does anyone have a modified inf file for the 770m? (Or have instructions on how to modify inf files) Thanks guys!

How do I get the vbios of my card? So far I have not been able to install any drivers. Do you have the Dell version of the card or the clevo version?

Use GPU-Z, hit the button next to bios version, looks like an eprom chip with green arrow. File extension should be .rom

    I think Alienware is Dell.

Yep Alienware is Dell. I'll do that after I get thermal pads. (I ran it with the old ones, but I'm going to get new ones)

Hi I see that you have a gtx 770m in your M15x as I have just installed mines in to my M15x. I am wondering if a 240watt power adapter is required if I were to run an i7 920xm and gtx 770m together because apparently my computer won't boot up and the gpu and cpu can spin for 4 seconds though the CPU fan spins for a milisecond and then stops and I get a black screen, but all LEDs show up except the keyboard once since it hasn't booted up yet.

That smells like an error code to me...your laptop does not POST. Try to reseat your video card.

Make sure the GPU heat sink is properly attached, as simple as it sounds, I've seen a few cases where the issue is just that. Even though this upgrade is not officially supported by Dell, I don't see why it wouldn't work (except for drivers, those have to be modified), the 150W should be enough, it could run a little hot though.

All gpu cards work thus far. As said above check the heatsink is mounted properly.
