Well, good luck with the job, bro. Hope you get it! Sound funny, actually, "So, hat do you do?" "Well, I'm a burrito roller". Ha ha ha! Sounds better than "I work at Wal-Mart".
Schools here also start on September 21st, by the way.

If Dell sends me a part telling me to install it myself and there's no return label in the box, does that mean I get to keep the old one? There's nothing in the invoice about sending the old one back, there's nothing besides the shipping label on the box itself.

You have to send it back. They'll probably send you a shipping label within the week and you're supposed to send it back within 10 days of receiving the part.

I'd recommend calling and asking about a label just to make sure.

So a label should be showing up to send it back without me having to request it?

I don't want to give it back if I don't have to, they've offered me nothing but horrible customer support and I have to go to their Corp managers to get results.

That's risky, though. They will charge it to your credit card if you don't send it back. Don't worry about the return label, it will show up sometime.

if you don't see anything in a few days then call them up. they can end up charging you if you don't return it. its just good to be safe.

Fine I'll tell them to send me a shipping label when I constantly call this weekend to harass them to send me the part that I actually need if nothing shows up they can screw off.

inap, I won't accept the cable for free, Give me your price and I'll paypal it over.

Yeah they can be a pain. It took about a month to finally get my laptop running flawless again. I think it would have taken even longer if i didn't just decide to replace the parts myself once my replacement came in =/

They're QC has gone down CONSIDERABLY. Their on-site techs have always been hit or miss while 9 out of 10 phone techs you speak to have no idea what they are talking about.

The techs in my area, there's one dude his name was Junior, very friendly, knew how to make conversation, knew exactly what he was doing even if it was his first timing touching that model he would have read up on the service manual, if anyone but him calls for a tech appointment I call Unisys up and request Junior, the last 2 guys... I wanted to throw them out of my house.

If you do, then could you answer this question - Would a better CPU make FRAPs record smoother.

I think all of us AW owners should form a petition to create a new QC and support for Dell's "high-end" (lol) adamo and AW systems. We didn't pay a premium to get crappy service. :/

Steam gives me this message, though:
Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not connected to the internet.

I am connected to the internet, obviously.

Steam is so bloody slow when downloading updates/purchasing games. I usually let them load while I hook up my M11X and 'do my net thing' or vice-versa. :p

Hi guy6s, need some help. After trying to uninstall Steam (which didn't work, the whole computer just froze) my baby refuses to start up. I've tried just about everything I know, but nothing makes a difference. Any ideas out there?

    Thanks in advance bros.

    Yeah, that's what I will do. I'd push for a 5870 but they don't offer those, :p

Kind of a shame, though. I had no problems with this card and I honestly don't need anything "better". Something else is that I actually prefer NVidia over ATI, if only because of their driver support.

The new NVIDIA cards are new but geez its gonna be expensive. Also not sure the bios will support those cards either. I would get a dell 5850 good performance plus dell warranty is nice.

They're hard to find here, though. The 5870 is easy to find but ridiculously expensive. Same goes for Nvidia cards, though. Hard to get your hands on.
