    Hi,
I just recently "tried" to order an M15x.

I used the -£300 discount and the -£120 laptop deal from dell.

Overall I spent £889 (including vat and postage).

I got an email "Dell Order Acknowledgement - Internet Receipt Number:"
so I thought it was successful. I went to the dell website and asked about my order and they said that the payment have failed!!

    Have this happened to anyone?

I bought it on 7am on the 24th, just before the discount expired.

The dell support told me to call my bank but it was bank holiday.. Im going to call them tomorrow. I'm just a little bit angry.

I have more than enough in my bank to pay for the laptop. I dont know why it says "payment failed" on their end.

If I have to do it again then I'll have to pay without the -£300 discount.

I'll update this once I call my bank tomorrow but for now anyone got any clue to what's going on?

even if the discount is gone talk to a rep and request him to give you the discount.. same thing happened with me, next day the deal expired. Called up the guys and they matched the amount for the new order!

    Good Luck.

I had a similar issue when using the dell financial services.. I scheduled a payment to go through and it was denied even though I had plenty of money in the account. I called them and they straitened it out for me.

The exact same thing happened to me. I ordered a m14x with the £300 discount, I had an email asking for address confirmation, which I replied to, but when I checked my order status later it had been cancelled.

Emailed them today and they said it was a mix up with address verification and I have to reorder but that the discounted price no longer applies!

Am waiting to hear from them if I can reorder at the same price, will be very very unhappy if not...will post what happens when I find out.

So I called my bank this morning, I just told them that "I made an online transaction with dell worth £889.00 but the payment have failed, they will try to charge me again in the next 24-48 hours please make sure that the payment goes through successfully"

A few hours later I recieved the order confirmation ^_^ estimated arrival date is 11th of May.

It's all thanks to dell support they told me how to sort it out.

@Grey5cale try what razerBlades did and call them. I called them about my problem and I felt like I would have been able to convince them to give the discount again if my order really did fail. Anyway good luck!

Calling is always the best thing to do when dealing with Dell... it's convenient, and it's fast. You don't need to wait for someone answering your email.
