guys i am desperate :( i bricked my m15x... i will tell u my story:
so i got my nvidia 560M installed into my M15x(had 240M) with the thermal paste and thermal pads and also with the 306.23 driver... but each time i run a game my laptop would shut down immediately after gamelaunch. so i decided to upgrade my bios to A09... i burned it on a dvd and reset my laptop and ran the boot from optical drive... in the middle of the bios upgrade my laptop shuts down!!! leaving me with a briked pc. i turn on my laptop the screen is black and nothing appears... keyboard is lit and the numlock capslock buttons are blinking...
i tried everything i searched everywhere but just cant find the solution :( PLZ HELP MEEEEEE :'(

no need to bump.. I do not own this system buuut. I own the m18x and on my system there is a way to blind flash the bios.. it is there to help recover a bad bios flash..
Now I do not know how it is done on your system or even what bios your system uses.. But I would assume there was a way to do a blind recovery of your bios, but i may be wrong..

EDIT: after further searching I see all the advice given points to calling Dell.. Ive also read that you need to do multiple updates to get to A09 and can not go straight to A09.
I do not know if this is true but maybe some one that has gone threw this all ready can chime in..

my guess ur laptop is getting too hot that it auto shutdown to prevent damage. Well as for recovering from bad flash i dunno man. good luck on that and hope ur baby comes back alive.

You try resetting the CMOS battery. Open up the back panel and you should see a small round battery in the center. Attached to it is a small cable that is plugged into the MOBO. Perhaps try unplugging it then plugging it back in again.

Once the CMOS is removed also remove the battery pack and while the machine is unplugged with no power source hold down the on button for 30 secs. This can help reset the CMOS and clear up problems with the bios.

Then plug CMOS back in again and the battery pack, close up and power back on. Perhaps you will have another chance to flash her.

i think you can try to extract the content of the BIOS file (the content of the resulting folder) onto the USB stick and continue with step 5.
