    Power problem : lights and fans come on for a second then the lights stay on and the fans shut off

    Does that means i have ic power problem or? If it because ic power i could fix it

    Sounds like a hardware problem. Firstly I would try one stick of memory at a time but it really could be a number of things. I think these old machines used the lights as a diagnostic code instead of the beep code system. Do you get a pattern of lights on the keyboard panel?
    It's been years since I had an M15x so I can't really remember the layout.

    I was thinking it could be a memory problem as well. I just had a very similar thing happen with my PC. It turned out to be faulty memory.
