Recently, I've been noticing that when I turn on my laptop, the Touch Control Buttons are no longer lighting up.
I've been able to get them to work by doing a power drain, but this is happening all the time now.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Nope. Dead. However after a power drain, it works like a charm. That's what makes me doubt that the cables are loose or anything like that. My fear is that the MoBo is going...
Could it be? The end of my beautiful M15X??? Nooooooo! ;)

hmm, never seen this type of thing before. what i was thinking might be the software causing the problem. if all else fails. i might try formating.

for now i might try reinstalling the command center. remember to use the one from dell website not the CD. sorry that's all i can think of for now.

Have you check the cable for the touch media control?

for the OSD it is best just to uninstall and install the newest one from the website. well as a foolproof method you could try pressing F7. If it ejects the disc then you have the old version. the new one fixes that
