Hello guys, I am new here and still chicken. I have a question about GTX 460m. With the GTX 460m which was pulled out from M17xR3, will it work on M15xR2? Thanks a lot for any of your advice! :)

As long as the powersupply can run it, it should work

Yeah, it would work like a charm, esp if you are currently using Nvidia

Hello guys! I have been viewing these threads for quite a while and I would just like to ask if the M15x (with 460m) would be able to handle Guild Wars 2? I know there has been no official system requirements yet but I simply just can't wait for an opinion. Thanks in advance! This forum has always been a good source of information!

i wouldnt get the 460m for guild wars 2 if i was you. if u want best performance its better to just save up and buy a 6970m and 6990m especially since u still got some time before GW 2 comes out

Unfortunately I can't get another gfx since the 460m came with the m15X that I purchased earlier this year. How would the 460m fare to playing GW 2 I wonder? Is the 460m that bad already for that game that it won't handle GW 2 on high settings?

my 460m was doing pretty good with bf 3 on high settings so it will probably do fine with guild wars 2. im lookin forward to that game as well

The 460m isn't a bad little card, but unfortunately its getting old. Most newer games are gonna run at medium high depending on the game, so I don't expect guild wars 2 to be more graphically demanding than BF3. I could be wrong though, but those are just my observations :)

I don't see why you would have an issue, the 460m is nearly identical to the 560m and performs pretty well. A little bit of an overclock doesn't hurt either.
