    Hey guys

Just wanting opinions on if I should look at repasting my CPU.

Idle temps are good, usually in the region of 35-42degrees across all cores, with little variance. For gaming and normal use I am using 25 - 24 - 18 - 18, 62/62, and don't normally see CPU temps over 60 degrees.

However today I was running a 1024M TS bench 24x across all cores, TDP/TDC 75/70 respectively, and by about half way through the bench I was seeing a variation of about 10 degrees between the hottest and coolest temperatures reported by Throttlestop. Max temp was 85degrees.

    Opinions?

    Thanks!

Congratulations. You'll find that it is as much the paster as the paste. Good job.

LOL. IrateMike, it sounds like you don't need to re-paste at the moment, but there's not a huge margin for error. Heat starts to build at 24x across and gets to be a challenge at 25x-26x across. It may start to throttle at 85C without Throttlestop, so keep an eye on temps.
