Hey guys, I am looking to replace my M15x and I would like some advice for that.

I am currently in Peru and I can easily sell this beast for 1000 bucks (looking for a 17 alienware)or I can buy a 1 year warranty and hope for it to die so maybe it gets replaced by something else.

    Any advice is welcomed.

Why do you hope for it to die? You could potentially upgrade it!

I am surprised you can get 1000 bucks for it. Then again I don't know the Peruvian market. You seem to know what you want. Sell the M15x and get the 17.

I have considered upgrading it further (L502x screen, GPU, CPU), however, I really need a HDMI-IN and a larger screen due to my college's room being too small (10x7 feet) which make me unable to get a monitor for a console; which is the reason that I am considering the Ali 17, or a second-hand m17x r3-4 and m18x r1-r2 if I found one cheap.

The reason for the warranty update was cuz I made my brother buy an old-refur M17x R1 for 1000$ which ended up been replaced for a maxed l521x (500 ssd, etc), hopefully I will have the same luck.

I am looking to spend like 1400-1600 and I still have till June to make up my mind. which by that time the Ali 17 should be at the Outlet store.

Try selling it and get a new one, then upgrade the warranty on that one :) We have had some promotions lately on the Outlet, keep checking the clearance deals.
