    Hello friends!

Ever since I bought my m15x, the led in the right front has been unable to produce any color with green in it. I have tried to remove battery and cmos battery, but nothing seems to help. I'm out of ideas. Please advice? :hi2:

ok im lost, what do you mean by right front led ?
if you are talking about the alienfx lighting system for the keyboard and other glowie things, simply uninstall command centre and reinstall the SAME VERSION again.
never install a older version of command centre as you will corrupt the MIO chip on the motherboard and lose all lights.

The LED at the right speaker. Its the only one on the right front side ;)

Yes, I am talking about the AlienFX light. The only version I have ever installed was the newest one at Dell's website

The problem is kinda hard to explain, so I will try make a video later whenever I find my cellphone :D

I think that if reinstalling the command center did not work you may have a led issue. Have you tried the AlienFXTester.exe app located in the command center installation folder?

Ok, a bit late, but heres the solution:

I decided to skip the optical drive and put a 640GB rotating harddrive instead. And while dismantling, I found that the cable for the right speaker lighting had been damaged in previous owners assembly. Therefore I cut it a bit and soldered and isolated. It now works beautifully, so no software faults :)
