    No you need a 2.5 inch one for the Caddy to be able to hold it properly.

    Pretty much, but do your research on the best ssd for your money though. As long as it is 2.5 then it is all good.

    i think any SSD is better then what i have now, i think my current HDD is dying, keep getting boot up error even though i format and reinstall OS

    I second this. There are tons of SSDs out there, and not all are created equal. You also want to look for any reliability issues, etc.

    i was gonna go with the ocz vertex2, however they pulled a funny with their model names. (there's 2 versions of vertex 2 and the older one is faster apparently).
    in the end i got a corsair force 120, not too shabby at all. i heard that all the new sandforce based drives perform relatively the same.
