So today i've been playing l4d2 happily till the ticking sound occurs below the touchpad. The game freezes and i thought it was normal, so i restarted as usual. Turns out i'm stuck at the logo. With a couple of powerdrains, it moved to the blank screen. I insert window CD, and turns out on the selection drive i can't find any drives. Sigh, why is it happening to me ? :(

I had the exact same thing happen with a seagate drive I had in my M1530, it would make clicking sounds and occasionally cause freezes. Probably a good idea to call Dell and get it sorted out asap.
