At the startup screen, with the big Alien Head where you can access the BIOS menu, a series of beeps sounds off. They gradually get faster and faster and then stop.

After that it proceeds to return to normal and goes to the log-in screen.

But whenever I click my profile to input the password, the password bar flashes for about half a second and disappears. I click the profile again and it does the same thing.

I can't log in to my account, so I clicked the guest account that has no password. It logs in and I get on Google Chrome. But whenever I type something into the address bar, it just reverts back to what was in it originally.

    For instance:
    The default is: https://www.google.com/
    I type in: notebookrev
But that's as far as I get before it reverts to https://www.google.com/

If you can understand any of what I just said, please help.

how many beeps do you get?

you could also try a simple power drain with cmos battery out:
do make sure the laptop is turned off

unplug adapter then take out battery, and remove the cmos battery.
then press and hold the power button for 20-30 sec.
    then put back and reboot

see if that does the trick

That is weird, never encountered that before. Try tapping F12 at the boot screen and selecting diagnostics from the boot menu. Maybe that will provide some clue.
