    Slow SSD Performance

    been searching throughout the forum (m15x , SSD) and cant locate the problem.

    i have a sandisk extreme 240GB
    Here are my AS SSD Benchmark:

    any idea why my performance is so average? Boot time doesnt feel that fast...Boot Timer says 41 seconds..
    i did clean installation of windows 7 when i first received my SSD

    where did you get the SSD? (just asking if its used or not)

    as benchmark looks ok to me.... unless you were expecting to get sata 3 speeds out of your m15x which runs in sata 2

    A Sata3 SSD is a good investment anyway because even though is limited to SATA2 speeds at the moment, in the future you may purchase a system that has SATA3 speeds. The only thing you will need to do then is transfer the SSD and you will enjoy it's max capability.
