Hey so I saw a bug crawling on my screen and was just trying to get it off. And I didnt realize until after I did it that the bug was inside my screen (between that plasticy cover on it). So I now have this tiny smudge from him in there and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to removing it? Thanks

Ahhh! Gross! You will have to open up the display to clean it out.

No it is incredibly difficult. There's a thread below or next page where someone swapped out their LCD you can use it as reference.

If you are on warranty you should call dell and have them replace it. Bugs shouldnt be able to get in there

This reminded me of Eternal Darkness on the GameCube... When your sanity
metre was drained you use to get all sorts of funny effects that mess with your
head, like bugs crawling across the screen or random messages saying "memory
    card corrupt". So much fun!

I do wonder how in the hells a bug managed to get inside your display
though. I just spent about 9 months in Africa (LOADS of bugs, of all shapes,
sizes and degrees of toxicity) and the only bug issue I had was a couple of
squashed ones dropping into the keyboard. It's worth pointing out that they
find the bright screen VERY attractive in low-light conditions, so I was
constantly trying to chase them away.

This is definitely a first as Maxilick stated!
Hope it doesn't prove to be a massive PITA to fix!

You also might want to check inside the computer. Heard of horror stories about how bugs like the warm insides of a computer to have babies in.... just a thought.
