Hey, i have my aleinware m15x laptop that i've only had for a couple of weeks and i have about 3 dead or stuck pixels on my LCD.

What could this be caused by? and is there any way to fix it or should i just call dell and get a new one?

    Thanks much.

They'll replace it if there's only a few dead pixels? I think i just found another one.

EDIT: as i was showing my mother what i was talking about with the dead pixels she spilled my monster drink on the right hand side of my keyboard so i took it out, i didn't disconnect anything, to clean it and now..my numbers don't work. One through four don't work, five and six do and then seven eight and nine are all not working. Does this mean i need a new keyboard?

dry it out then test again, if don't work call dell.

3 or more dead pixel you will get a replacement. if one dead pixel then it depends on the location.

I called dell and they are making me send in my laptop even though i have in home next day service for like 11 more months. Is this right?

I tried telling the guy i had in home next day service but he said they couldn't KNOW that the keyboard was the only problem so i have to send it in for testing.

Wow so to have your screen replaced you need like nine dead pixels? Well i only have four but the technician said they would replace it.

Is it right that they are making me send in the laptop even though i have in home next day service? like i said they said that they can't "Just guess" that its the keyboard thats having the problem. But thats not my problem is it?
