No! I could run my GTX 460m for hours and it wouldn't go above 83 degrees. I suggest you invest in some new thermal paste and thermal pads. Make sure thermal pads cover VRAM and chips directly under the heatpipe.
If unsure how to disassemble and re-apply paste then click the link in my signature. I suggest Phobya 5W/mk 1mm thick thermal pads for the VRAM and the stock thermal pads up cover chips below heatpipe.
Thermal paste I recommend ICD24. -

I change thermal paste yesterday and i used ARTIC SILVER 5.
ICD24 i don't find in my country.
why choose ?
nt-h1 or mx-4 or prolimatech pk-1 or pk-2 or pk-3 ? -

Never used prolimatech but it seems overpriced. If no ICD24 try ICD7. Same product but just less quantity.
Arctic Silver 5 isn't bad. -
Right now i using artic silver 5 and temperature in crysis 3 goes to 92 C
If really an additional temp drop after the 200 hour i will wait. -

I would suggest you to re-paste the GPU and clean out the fans, here are some more tips for overheating.
