Hey everyone! Some of you on this forum might know me and I sure hell do know most of you! It has come to that point where I am retiring my old beast as I just want something newer and better. I finally will be getting my hands on the new Alienware 17! But don't worry guys I will still be lurking around these forums time to time to help all you guys out!

I'd just like to thank everyone in this community who has been so helpful and providing me with literally every knowledge required in upgrading the old beast. Some names I'd like to mention are King of Interns, fatboyslimerr and chopsy. You guys have turned me from someone who had zero knowledge about the M15x to someone who knows it inside out now! You guys have been the main reason why everyone (including me) has a 680M or 7970M in there systems with crazy overclocked i7 920/940XMs. I love you all very much! And once again thank you very much!

If anyone ever needs information or help on how to upgrade the Alienware M15x, I'm only a PM away! Also I am selling all the parts in my M15x (listed in my signature) apart from the Samsung 840 Pro 512GB as that is going in my AW 17. So if you guys want to buy any of the parts PM me or see my thread at the marketplace for some crazy bargains!

Peace out guys and maybe I will see some of you in the future in the Alienware 17 forum also? :)

Why the decision to upgrade? M15x still has plenty of life left in it. I wouldn't choose the AW 17 personally as I just don't see it as a significant step up for what I use my laptop for (GTX 880M doesn't interest me as its STILL Kepler).
GTX 970M and 980M could be interesting tho. Hope you get some good deals on your parts.

The decision to upgrade was cause I just wanted something newer and better plus when the GTX 980M comes out I can just put it in the AW 17 + that with my 4910MQ it will just be mind blowingly fast. Also the AW 17 just looks so cool and there is this really awesome carbon fiber skin I want to put on it as well haha! I will share some pics when I get this laptop :)

While it's sad that we'll no longer have you on the m15x forums, it's great to know that we'll still have you on the Alienware team for more time. If you ever need anything on the AW17 forum we'll help as much as we do here :)
