Hello, everyone! I haven't had much time to keep up with these forums in quite a while. I have been busy with a new job, new city, doctoral school work, and a two year old baby. The M15X is a heavy, old, beast of a laptop, but it sure is tough. I was riding my grandma bike (Japan) to the train station, and my foot got caught in the over-sized front tire. Needless to say, my bike flipped over forward and I flattened out a big bush. My M15X, however, slammed right into the ground. I figured it was done for, but I checked it out when I got to my classes, and everything worked fine! The only thing that happened was some of the metal on the corner got scratched up. Has anyone else experienced anything that demonstrates the toughness of their M15X? Also, long time no see!

I heard that the m15x's are made out of the same material as Captain America's shield...

This is the major reason why I choose systems with steel/metal construction. Not because I intend to flip on a bike or anything crazy, but they take a knock or two and take the test of time.

    Best response, ever.
