I know there are lots of problems that people have with the touch panel, but mine so far seems to be unique.

I installed my new nvidia 460m, and put my computer back together the way i took it apart. However, I may have done something to the connector for the touch panel because the lights don't come on and the touch buttons do not work. The strange part is that the power button does work, and the power button's light comes on for only a short moment before going away.

Any ideas what might be wrong? I feel it's likely that it's a problem with the cord that connects it to the computer, but it could be something else.
