    Hi all

noticed recently that my touchpad has stopped working - As soon as it boots I get the popup from the system tray saying that it's detected another pointing device even if another mouse isn't connected.

I've reinstalled drivers to no avail and I don't know what to try next

    Any ideas?!

    many thanks in advance

    Richard

have you tried fn+f12 to enable the touchpad? also powerdrain is recommended too.

Go to Start Menu>>type Alientouch in the search bar. When in AlienTouch, uncheck "Disable touchpad when external mouse is attached."
