I've been looking ALLLL over the internet trying to fix this issue. For some reason my touchstrip has stopped working and my laptop is stuck in Stealth mode. I have tried powering down, removing the battery and holding the power button for a minute (then tried 5 minutes to be thorough). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC and OSD and even taking out the touch panel and putting it back but nothing is working. I read a post about remapping keys to the touchstrip and I was wondering if it was possible to map the stealth button to a key or key combo, or even if there is a way to shut Stealth mode off via CMD or something. PLEASE help me fix my baby!

Loose connection. Take battery out. Then you have access to touch panel screws. Remove them and take out touch panel gently. I think you will find the connector loose. Re-plug it to be sure. The connector is pretty fragile so don't yank hard on the panel as you open it.

Disassembly videos for the M15x can be found on youtube that will help you.

Source: My own experiences. My touch panel for months on end wouldn't function properly. Either not at all or sometimes. Fixed after I did the above.

Yes I've done this twice already and it is in snuggly on both ends. The lights on the touch panel are lit up they just do not respond.

It may need a replacement then. Have you tried a power drain? Normally when you do that everything resets.

Also there is an app to view the status of the stealth mode. Here.

Thank you I tried downloading and using it before but Idk how to use it. I tried just running it from the folder, the icon popped up in my system tray but its non responsive. I'm guessing you need to do something with the .dll files that come with it. If you've used it can you tell me how to get it installed?
