    Hello there people.

Writing this post because i have an alienware m15x with the following specs:
    Core i7 720
    6gb ram
    gtx 260m

and i have this weird input between LAN input and a USB input
it has a D with a dot inside as logo (the D is not entirely closed at bottom)
Looks abit like HDMI but has one side flat. inside it goes like an angry mouth
    [--------] or smthing like this.

Anyone has any idea what this input is and what its for ? thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the displayport?
It is there instead of HDMI, and you should have recieved a displayport->hdmi adapter with your computer.

Essentially its just for hooking your computer up to your tv/monitor as you would with HDMI.

    Its all in the manual

I bought this thing refurbished, so no manual or adapter.
Is there anyway to get my hands on this ?

well not really an input per se
rather an output since it displays your computer's desktop onto a tv or external monitor.

but yeah it's quite awesome, sound over hdmi and all.
