    Upgrading an M15x?

    Ok so im new to alienwares. Im going to go off to college in about a year from now. I most likely will not be getting a laptops until summer time anyways.

    I really like the size of the m15x's, but of course they dont make them anymore.

    If I were to get one off of ebay for like really cheap and very low specs. What could i upgrade in it as far as the GPU and CPU? Could i put anything the newer alienwares could have? (ex: m17x, m18x) Like even a 6970 and an i7 or something like that?

    Also just a quick question, what do you guys think about having an m15x in college? Good idea? Portable enough?
