yesterday i was playing Crysis and then i did some work and again played GTA IV for a while. I turned my laptop off and then went to sleep. The gpu was slighlty over clocked. 640/1050/1600. Today when i came back home from work I tried to turn it on and It wont stir at all. The adapter light will go off as soon as i plug it in, but yesterday it was working perfectly to the last moment. I dont know what happened. Please dont tell me to replace the Mobo coz the warranty is over and I am in Asia :(

Unplug the power supply and remove the battery, then hold the power button down for 30 seconds to remove all residual power from the notebook and then re-assemble and see what happens.

get one 2nd hand of eBay its probably cheaper about 100 usd , or upgrade new 4/560M +/- 300usd. If your card still is alife I advise to repaste it

man i had the same issue with you before on my m15x. This actually happened after I got my laptop back from repair because of a dead motherboard. The adapter light will just go off as soon as you plug it. I was about to call dell again to have it repaired for another time, however, I tried to give it a last shot before calling them. So what I did was i plugged the adapter (with it being plug to the wall socket already) very very slowly and to my amazement the light did not go off as what happened before and I was able to turn it on. However, I cannot really say that this solved this issue because It could also be a combination of just having my M15x rest for a couple of hours or unplugging the battery and putting it back in. Anyways, I lived in the Philippines and as far as I know, I can still have my M15x be repaired even if its out of service. I would just need to pay for the parts and and a little for the labor.

Hope everything works out for your laptop :)

Never turn your laptop off after u finish gaming it has high temps. I've run into numerous startup issues by doing. I always restore my laptop to stock clocks and let the temps go back to normal idle temps before turning off and never had a problem since. But elaborate further on your issue.

This is true, the GPU might be the situation here. It might need to be replaced.
