    Sorry,

I'm sure this gets asked often. I haven't really used my laptop since I purchased it I had a ridiculous amount of problems and dealing with Dell was a nightmare. Started using it again and reformatted it and everything is working nicely. I'd I've to play the game wildstar that's coming out. However I settings . the only have a 260m. I'm hoping someone can recommend an upgrade that will allow me to play the game above low settings that won't cost me a fortuneThe games miminimum requirements are a gtx 460.

By not costing me a fortune I mean something decent for my money haha. My laptop reaches every other requirement. But i'm starting school right away and will be just getting by for the next four months.

    Any recommendations?

You know, it would really, really help, if we had any clue at all what your computer is.

    Sorry about that,

    I have an i7 740qm and 6gb ddr3 and the 260m video card.

I'd like to keep my price under $400 and hopefully something that isn't too difficult of a switch as I'm a total news with these components.

You can install a 7970 (it's not a recommended upgrade from us but we've seen many success stories with this card on the m15x). The max officially supported card is the 5870.

You can upgrade to anything you want. So long as it is MXM standard 3.0.

The M15x supports them all. With $400 dollars you have quite a bit of choice especially if you go second hand via the NBR marketplace. 7970M or 680M are decent buys.
