When I watch video on my m15x through my display port to hdmi cable, I get a horizontal glitchy looking line during anything with a lot of motion. Drives me crazy when I'm watching netflix.

    Tv is a 42"vizio.
I have a gt 240m card, and my driver is 258.96

    Any ideas?

Sounds like a v-sync issue. Not sure how you'd resolve it though.

Do you have Aero enabled? (Assuming you are using Windows Vista or newer)
If not, try enable it. If you are using two monitors, try disable one monitor, or try disable Aero (if it is enabled).

yes, aero is enabled. i've tried it mirroring the display, and only using the TV as the single display.

Stange thing is, it only happens on certain tv's.
happens on my 42" vizio, but not on my gf's 37" vizio.

I just recently got this problem when i updated to the latest drivers for my 5850m.

I have an HDMI cable from the M15x to my receiver, and from the receiver i have a HDMI cable to my plasma.

I get this exact same problem only when im running Extended display.

    Never had this problem before.

Do you have your 5850 overclocked at all?

Yes i have it overclocked via AMD overdrive. But i somehow cannot seem to replicate this problem now.. But in case i get this glitch again ill try to set GPU to stock clocks to see if that fixes it.

    Thanks :)

Any time I have my video card overclocked (even when I'm using overdrive and no matter what clocks) my external display will flash and do weird things upon button clicks or scrolling.
