    Hey :)
I like to bring my computer to the kitchen to watch movies when I cook.
I never bother bringing the powercord, and thus watch them on battery.

The thing is that after a few minutes it will dimm the light, and I will have to turn it up again, which is pretty annoying.

Is there any way to keep it from dimming the light when watching something in fullscreen?

Go to the powerplan settings and change the "Dim the display" option to "never"

But wont that mean that it will never dim on battery? I want it to dim any other time than when im watching something on fullscreen.

I know my old Acer had this option.

Hmm, yeah. Actually I thought it shouldn't dim while watching movies... maybe it depends on the program you're using.

As a workaround you could create a custom powerplan for watching movies.

Maybe someone else knows a different solution.

Only solution I know of is to create a power plan for movie watching like sv7 suggested. Amazon streaming dims the screen so I created a power plan for movie watching as I do similar activities while in kitchen.

But wont that mean that I have to change the plan every time I wanna watch a movie?
But ofc, its still a better solution :)

    Thanks a lot guys
