This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yes yes, i got a virus. Had to do the whole alien respawn thing which is a first lol. runs much faster now. no lag on the interwebz!

    hah none LOL
    i never liked anti virus programs, ever since my buddie showed me that company's pay the antivirus company's to put hidden things, like key loggers and such.

    Yeah MSE is great. I used to have the Mcafee crap which frequently caused stuttering.

    I use Nod32. My favourite of all. Low on resources, good and very protective.
