    I am planning to put a Hitachi 7k500 into the optical bay of the M15x now that I have read up on the fun disasembly part of things I would like to know what is the best optical drive HDD caddy for this machine.

    I have some stuff linked in my sig (1TB Internal) and that should work for your needs. I put in a 1TB HDD. In the pics, when I first got it I put a 750GB in and then later swapped for moar space!
