Sometimes when I put my M15x into hibernate/sleep/turn it off, when I next try to turn it on it won't power up. It refuses to turn on until I've taken the battery out, waited a few minutes and put it back in again. It seems to happen randomly (sometimes it'll turn on fine) so I'm confused as to what's wrong with it.

The LEDs on the battery work fine and when the laptop's plugged in it says the battery is charging/charged no problem.

(I think it happens randomly - I've just realised that it might be occurring when I hibernate/turn the laptop off when it isn't plugged into a power source.)

I know it's not due to the battery running out because the LEDs show it's charged and when it does eventually turn on the battery usually has quite a lot of power left in it.

Any ideas? Pretty much at a loss with this one!

    You can try:

Taking out the battery and the power cord, press and hold the power button for 1 minute (the laptop won't turn on).
Flashing the BIOS to the latest version.
Load BIOS defaults by pressing F9 on the BIOS screen.
