    Whenever my laptop gets disconnected from the power supply my laptop auto shut downs, and then it will only start up with the power connected to it or if I unplug the battery and put it back in. The battery is fine and it'll run on it for an hour and a half.

    I think this is a setting issue or something is faulty and I don't know what; any ideas?

    Always start with the old reliable power drain trick:

    * Turn off your M15x
    * Remove the battery
    * Disconnect the power cord
    * Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds
    * Replace the battery and connect the power cord
    * Start your M15x.
