    Hey all,
I want to upgrade my Ram on my M15x from 4 gig to 8 gig but when i search on-line im getting a lot of different prices such as some sites are saying £16 per stick while others are saying £125 per stick. If someone could link me to the correct ram i should buy i would appreciate it.
    Thanks

Get the cheap stuff from a reputable brand. From what I understand, it doesn't really matter what you get unless you are benchmarking. You need DDR3 ram.

G.Skill is a good cheap brand. Not sure what's available in the UK though.

Go to crucial.com and run their scan, that will let you know exactly what type of ram you need. The person 2 posts above me is right, generic ram from a reputable brand is fine. However, do you actually need 8gb of ram. I upgraded to 8gb, but my usage never crosses the 4gb mark (so now that i think about it, it wasn't worthwhile to do at the time).
